As a key member of our protective services division, you'll conduct routine security assessments, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to potential threats. This role requires weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with weekday flexibility for training and administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and threat assessments of federal facilities
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and access control technologies
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Train and mentor junior security personnel on federal protocols
- Collaborate with DHS leadership to implement security enhancements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- 3+ years in law enforcement, military, or federal security
- Proficiency with CCTV systems, access control software, and alarm monitoring
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Flexibility for occasional weekday training and emergency response
