Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and access control at federal facility
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents 24/7
- Enforce federal regulations and VA security policies with precision
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Complete detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Utilize advanced security technology (CCTV, biometric systems)
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and staff
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years security/law enforcement experience
- Valid California Guard Card and firearms certification
- Proficiency in security software and surveillance systems
- Ability to work rotating weekends with fixed schedules
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Pass rigorous federal background investigation
- First Aid/CPR certification required
