Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security screenings and access control at federal facilities during weekend shifts
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents with protocol-driven precision
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation for federal compliance
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergency response situations
- Conduct regular patrols and vulnerability assessments of assigned premises
- Maintain strict adherence to TSA, DHS, and federal security regulations
- Train junior security staff on weekend operational procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security experience with weekend/holiday shift availability
- Valid Florida Security Officer License (D License)
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and incident reporting tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
- Strong written communication skills for detailed report writing
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts including holidays
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification preferred
