Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of federal facilities in the Boston area
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents during weekend shifts
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed security reports and incident documentation
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and federal agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Train junior security personnel on standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of experience in law enforcement, military, or federal security
- Valid Massachusetts Class A Security License
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong observational skills and crisis management capabilities
- Familiarity with federal security regulations (FIPS, PPD-21)
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
