Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities in Chicago
- Monitor access control systems and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed
- Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports in federal databases
- Implement emergency response procedures during weekend operations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance of security systems
- Collaborate with weekday security teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Saturday/Sunday + one weekday)
- Proficiency in security systems and surveillance technology
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge of federal security regulations (FIPS, NIST)
