Responsibilities
- Conduct physical security patrols and surveillance operations at federal facilities along the El Paso border
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents with appropriate protocols
- Verify credentials and inspect vehicles/personnel entering restricted areas
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Operate security equipment including CCTV, access control systems, and detection devices
- Participate in emergency response drills and security threat assessments
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year security/law enforcement experience or military service
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security monitoring software
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in outdoor conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
