Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and surveillance operations at federal facilities
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents in real-time
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal agencies during joint security operations
- Conduct regular patrols and vulnerability assessments of assigned areas
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security regulations (FIPS, PII, NISP)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years in security enforcement or law enforcement
- Familiarity with federal security standards (FISMA, HSPD-12)
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficient in surveillance technology and security software
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6am-2pm)
- Strong communication skills and de-escalation techniques
- Physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
