Responsibilities
- Manage and process high-volume caseloads during weekend shifts to ensure timely resolution of inquiries and applications.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and procedural guidelines in all daily operations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records using the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) systems and databases.
- Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, veterans, and their families.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance service delivery.
- Conduct initial screenings and data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Minimum of one year of administrative or customer service experience in a government or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new proprietary software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
