Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain critical IT infrastructure for federal clients, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols in compliance with NIST and DoD standards.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions on time and within budget.
- Manage software lifecycle activities including installation, updates, and patch management.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Document all technical processes, configurations, and changes for audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Active Public Trust (or higher) clearance required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems engineering, IT administration, or network support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to undergo a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
