Job Overview
As a Federal Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in the storage, retrieval, and distribution of sensitive materials. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory records with high accuracy using federal tracking systems.
- Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment (Forklift, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and organize shipments.
- Compliance Adherence: Strictly follow federal security regulations, safety protocols, and procedural guidelines at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Shift Coordination: Manage daily operations during weekend shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
- Reporting: Maintain daily logs and report any discrepancies or safety hazards to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a federal background investigation and drug screen.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control.
- Equipment: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
