Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Respond to security alerts, incidents, and emergencies per federal protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities and incident reports
- Conduct access control screenings and verify credentials of personnel/visitors
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Participate in emergency response drills and security training exercises
- Ensure compliance with DHS regulations and facility security standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Basic knowledge of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
