Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive weekend coverage for federal healthcare services including patient intake, records management, and urgent response coordination
- Execute federal compliance protocols for HIPAA, VA regulations, and Department of Defense guidelines during all shift hours
- Coordinate cross-departmental weekend operations between clinical, administrative, and facilities teams
- Document veteran encounters and service delivery using federal systems (VistA, Cerner) with 100% accuracy
- Conduct weekend quality assurance audits for service delivery metrics and regulatory adherence
- Facilitate emergency weekend response protocols including disaster preparedness and critical incident management
- Maintain secure federal facility access controls and weekend visitor management procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years experience in federal/government operations or healthcare compliance
- Proficiency with federal systems (VistA, Cerner) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid state driver's license and ability to travel between VA facilities if needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Knowledge of VA healthcare policies and veteran service programs
- Flexibility to attend weekday training sessions and administrative meetings
