Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families during weekend operations
- Process and verify veteran benefits claims with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve complex case issues
- Maintain strict HIPAA and federal compliance documentation standards
- Support emergency response protocols during weekend high-volume periods
- Train weekend staff on federal regulations and VA procedures
- Generate weekly performance analytics for leadership review
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years federal/government customer service experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid New Mexico driver's license for occasional inter-facility transport
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred for diverse veteran population
- Successful completion of federal background investigation
