Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional veteran services during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday, 6AM-6PM)
- Process complex benefits applications and eligibility determinations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and support networks for veterans
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and data security protocols
- Train and mentor weekend shift staff on VA systems and procedures
- Generate performance reports and process improvement recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years federal or state government experience
- Active VA or federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in VA benefits systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office
- Valid Georgia driver's license for occasional travel to facilities
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Experience with veteran advocacy programs preferred
