Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a professional and friendly demeanor, managing queues efficiently.
- Verify documents and process DMV transactions, including license renewals, vehicle registrations, and address changes.
- Operate state-of-the-art computer systems to input data accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding fees and regulations.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly while adhering to department policies and procedures.
- Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and software usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or government services is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
