Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Lead recreational programs (sports, arts, fitness) for diverse age groups
- Enforce safety protocols during events and facility operations
- Perform light landscaping and equipment maintenance duties
- Assist with community event setup and coordination
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors
- Complete daily facility inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Experience in customer service or event coordination
- Basic knowledge of recreation programming principles
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Tennessee driver's license (if operating department vehicles)
