Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses along designated routes
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail according to delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and weather-related procedures
- Manage package volume and special handling requirements
- Complete daily route documentation and performance metrics
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to walk 5-8 miles daily and lift up to 35 lbs
- Availability to work in extreme weather conditions (cold, snow, ice)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods on varied terrain
