Nexus Horizon Labs is a leading think-tank and engineering firm dedicated to defining the technological trajectory for the next decade. We are looking for a visionary Future Tech Architect to lead our strategic roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between speculative future technologies and practical engineering solutions. You will work closely with our AI, Quantum, and Cybernetics divisions to identify emerging trends and build the infrastructure that will define the year 2026.
Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic R&D: Define and oversee the technical roadmap for 2026, identifying high-impact technologies (e.g., AGI, Quantum Interfaces, Neural Linking).
- Innovate & Prototype: Spearhead proof-of-concept projects to validate future tech feasibility and scalability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex futuristic concepts into actionable strategies for C-suite executives and engineering teams.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with recruiting to identify specialized talent capable of operating in advanced technical environments.
- Patent & IP Strategy: Lead initiatives to secure intellectual property rights for next-generation technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related STEM field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in high-level engineering, architecture, or R&D leadership.
- Technical Vision: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Blockchain, Edge Computing) and their potential impact.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve ambiguous problems and define frameworks where none exist.
- Communication: Superior ability to communicate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders.
