Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite stakeholders and secure funding for experimental projects
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership with portfolio of scaled solutions
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Strong track record of turning blue-sky concepts into commercial products
- Certification in Agile Innovation Management or equivalent
