Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and deploying next-gen technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop patentable IP portfolios and technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry benchmarks
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Partner with regulatory bodies to shape future technology governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with proven track record in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience scaling innovations from concept to market with Fortune 500 companies
- Certifications in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, CEIM)
- Proficiency in strategic scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
