Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Create and execute a comprehensive long-term technology strategy that aligns with the company's goals for the year 2026 and the decades following.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Evaluate and pilot cutting-edge technologies, including advanced AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology, to determine their practical application.
- Strategic Roadmap Leadership: Oversee the development of technical roadmaps, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve future milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to translate futuristic concepts into executable business plans.
- Talent & Culture: Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists and engineers who are passionate about pushing boundaries.
- Risk Management: Assess the risks associated with emerging tech adoption and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: Proven experience in defining long-term technology roadmaps and strategic plans with a focus on future trends (5-10 year horizon).
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, or Quantum Computing.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at the executive level.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- Innovation Mindset: A track record of innovation, with the ability to think creatively and solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
