Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic solutions into current offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external investors
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience scaling teams and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
