- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-focused solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Manage R&D budgets and allocate resources to high-impact innovation projects
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and advocate for favorable innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling tech solutions from concept to market
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Fluency in data analytics tools (Python, SQL, Tableau) and AI frameworks
