Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026+ product ecosystem
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for market disruption
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams
- Develop future-use-case scenarios and competitive advantage frameworks
- Secure patent portfolios and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
- Present vision to C-suite and key stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and future trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in product development from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD in CS, Engineering, or Futuristics)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
