Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, decentralized systems) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with global sustainability and digital transformation goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-use-case solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term technology adoption and ROI
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Manage innovation pipeline including startup scouting and partnership development
- Advocate for ethical tech deployment and responsible innovation principles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (e.g., blockchain, AI) with documented impact
- Experience with scenario planning, technology radar methodologies, and innovation frameworks
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes (GDPR, AI Act, etc.) and ethical implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published research, patents, or implemented future-tech initiatives
- Fluency in emerging tech tools (Python for data analysis, Figma for prototyping, etc.)
