Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and business objectives for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future technologies into product roadmaps
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology deployment and societal impact
- Manage a portfolio of experimental R&D projects with $2M+ annual budget
- Represent the company at global tech forums and shape industry standards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of commercializing cutting-edge technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains with published research or patents
- Executive-level experience with P&L responsibility and cross-functional leadership
- Strong understanding of ethical implications of exponential technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
