Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AGI ethics, etc.) for strategic implementation
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Champion innovation culture through hackathons, R&D partnerships, and cross-functional ideation sessions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Manage technology scouting networks and startup ecosystems to identify acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of emerging technologies across enterprise
- Author thought leadership content on future tech trends for industry conferences and publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology transformation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech, or generative AI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on technology innovation
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent strategic foresight certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or disruption initiatives
- Experience scaling innovation programs in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, energy)
