Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting for 2026+ horizon, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Develop and execute technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market opportunities
- Conduct competitive analysis and due diligence on emerging technologies through market research and vendor evaluations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology implementation and risk mitigation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation through internal workshops and hackathons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (patents or successful launches preferred)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with technology lifecycle management from ideation to decommissioning
- Certification in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., IEEE Foresight, Gartner Hype Cycle)
