Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop and implement cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision
- Conduct competitive analysis of next-gen tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into MVPs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Manage $1M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
- Build and lead a specialized future-tech research team
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500/tech unicorns
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with 2020-2025 impact
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with technology roadmapping and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
