Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neuro interfaces) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype futuristic solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies and ethical tech implementation
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments impacting 2026 landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech sectors
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence, or spatial computing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological adoption curves
- Executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
