Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026+
- Lead R&D initiatives for disruptive technologies, managing budgets and resources across multidisciplinary teams
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into existing platforms
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify market disruption opportunities
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI of innovation initiatives
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons, patents, and industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech deployment
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech with published research or patents
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of 15+ technical professionals
- Deep understanding of venture capital landscape and startup ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
