Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, biotech) for commercial integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future technology use cases
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts impacting future tech adoption
- Drive innovation workshops to ideate next-generation solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI assessment
- Published thought leadership in future technologies or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary R&D budgets >$5M
- PhD or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
