Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030, aligning with global market trends and company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurotech, climate tech) for commercial viability
- Lead R&D initiatives in collaboration with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors securing $50M+ in funding
- Build and manage a network of technology partners and academic institutions
- Anticipate regulatory shifts and ethical implications of future technologies
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of radical creativity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological systems
- Experience securing government grants and private equity for tech ventures
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German (for global partnerships)
