Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-encrypted communication systems
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous AI deployment in regulated industries
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through federal grants and private equity
- Present future-tech scenarios to C-suite executives and government advisory boards
- Mentor emerging engineers in interdisciplinary innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record scaling quantum/AI initiatives from prototype to production
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and venture capital for deep tech
- Certification in Technology Foresight (WFS/TFI) and AI Governance (IEEE)
