Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for autonomous systems and decentralized networks
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate and acquire early-stage startups
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and digital sovereignty
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technological disruption scenarios
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget for R&D initiatives and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Go preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
