Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and spatial computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to translate theoretical concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026+ technology standards
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in tech ecosystems
- Design frameworks for responsible AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/metaverse/biotech)
- Proven track record developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published research or thought leadership on technology's societal impact
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTe)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
