Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech) to forecast market disruptions through 2026
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global technology policy and regulatory developments
- Drive innovation culture through mentorship and thought leadership initiatives
- Quantify ROI of emerging technology investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
