Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields including quantum AI and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic technology proposals to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technologists
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and integrate startup innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, white papers, or keynotes)
- Experience with technology roadmapping and portfolio management frameworks
