Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including Web3, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with commercial viability by 2026
- Author thought leadership papers on societal impacts of technological acceleration
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Mentor junior futurists through our proprietary Tech Vanguard program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-first initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks, quantum computing principles, and blockchain architectures
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight methodologies and scenario planning excellence
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq)
