Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends post-2025
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, bio-integrated systems, etc.)
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting future deployments
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic research labs and emerging tech startups
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration
- Present future vision to investors, board members, and industry conferences
- Monitor convergence signals between biotech, AI, and sustainable energy sectors
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record launching breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/sustainable tech)
- Expertise in technology ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence patterns (2025-2030)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
