Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging academic research and commercial applications
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $15M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Mentor junior researchers and coordinate global innovation challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 technology strategy
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong network with academic and industry tech leaders globally
