- Develop and implement 2026-focused technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for next-gen innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage R&D budget allocation for future technology initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive adoption of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, sustainable tech
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, conferences)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Exceptional strategic communication and presentation skills
