Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for industry disruption and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future-focused insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Author thought leadership publications and trend reports
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-technical shifts affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or tech consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, bio, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
