Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptors, and societal shifts through 2026+ lenses
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into R&D and business planning
- Partner with executive teams to de-risk long-term investments and identify blue-ocean opportunities
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on AI governance, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and shape industry discourse
- Mentor teams in foresight methodologies and exponential thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex futures
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
