Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends and disruptive forces through 2026
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing pilot programs for breakthrough technologies and business models
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to co-create future solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board members to inform high-stakes decisions
- Quantify innovation ROI through advanced scenario modeling and market simulation techniques
- Curate and lead internal 'Future Labs' workshops to cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in innovation strategy, futures research, or equivalent foresight role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation landscapes
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) strongly preferred
