Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast industry trajectories through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for executive presentations
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Represent the company at futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex insights into compelling narratives
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, system dynamics modeling)
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Track record of driving strategic initiatives that generated measurable market impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or APF) preferred
