Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ technology foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead strategic innovation initiatives that align with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Partner with R&D teams to identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Create compelling future-state narratives and roadmaps for executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social shifts affecting future business landscapes
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property portfolios for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology consulting with demonstrable impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial ventures
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in multinational organizations
