Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities and threats through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to guide long-term decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market needs
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and white papers that position Horizon Labs as a future-shaping authority
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots, M&A opportunities, and R&D investments
- Cultivate a future-oriented culture through workshops, training, and organizational development initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or equivalent professional certification
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising C-suite executives on strategic transformation and future-proofing initiatives
- Portfolio of published foresight work or demonstrated impact on organizational strategy
