Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop 2026 strategic roadmaps for product development, market entry, and organizational transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to track innovation frontiers
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term strategic planning
- Maintain a 'Future Radar' dashboard tracking key indicators and disruption signals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executable plans
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their convergence implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or strategic foresight projects
