Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, Web3, biotech) through market research and horizon scanning
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning for 2025+ tech landscapes
